MIRACLES DO HAPPEN WHEN YOU LEAST EXPECT IT

Yes, it is true. Miracles do happen! Last week, our dear friend was told that she was dying and she was prepared to go home to await her last days. She was administered to another hospital - I don't know why the move to another hospital, probably it has to do with certain treatments available at one and not the other - and the chief surgeon assured her that she should undergo the operation to stop the internal bleeding and she is too young to simply let go of her life.

Well, guess what, when they 'opened' her up, the internal bleeding was found to be in the small intestines and not in the stomach as the doctors of the other hospital had insisted on. Anyway, the surgery went very well and my friend is now out of the ICU and recuperating in the regular ward. Oh my, we are all so elated!!! Her husband now wants an explanation from the 1st team of doctors why they had misdiagnosed totally. There is a huge difference between the stomach and the small intestines, won't you agree?!

Here are some of my beads made yesturday, quite pleased with them. I am still into making the little 'hearty' beads; do bear with me, it's a phase I am going through... by the way, I have no names for the beads, have to figure them out slowly today. My mind's a total blank right now.

May I take this opportunity to wish all of you a happy Easter and relaxing long weekend. Don't over-indulge in eating too much Easter chocolate eggs, though the good news is that dark chocolate is great against any heart disease although eating too much of it balloons us out.

Purple and yellow - my favorite color combination

Transparent medium amethyst with light blue motifs - this purple is quite dark, almost appears like black

Black and white - the red heart is dark although I had placed white under the red

Left bead is made with Lauscha pink (don't quote me on that, I lost the label to this glass)
Right bead is made with Effetre dark pink

Dark brown with light sky blue motifs

Light yellow with black motifs

MAD RUSH

Busy, busy, busy... I have to make beads and have not been concentrating too well these past days. Anyway, here's a necklace I just put together today with different blue tones/hues.

CAUGHT UNDER THE MOONLIGHT

Here are some beads I made over the last days and they are going on sale on ebay, with some on etsy which have been sold.
