TIME FOR THOUGHTS

I can't believe how fast time has gone by this year! Seems like it was light years ago that I was totally cut off from cyberspace though it was just last month. We have moved into our new place about three weeks ago, still running back to the old place to throw out things we've been hoarding over the years. It's amazing how much we accumulate and you know what, I don't even miss the things I have chucked out! Goes to show that I really did not need them at all! Ah, the sole employer at the recycling center knows me so well by now and each time I am there, he shakes his head and wonder when I shall have the final load...

My mind has not really settled down and the way I feel is definitely reflected in how I am working presently - yes, a total lack of concentration. When I feel a 'second wind', I crank up the kiln immediately and start torching. Such days are rare and I hope that this will pass after this weekend as both my husband and I decided that Saturday will be our cut-off date where we no longer need to ferry to the old place and the recycling center. It's so very feng-shui - the burden is still heavy on the shoulders and until we have things settled, my mind is not free to work.

Anyway, here are some beads I have made recently and in this week. The orange set is a set of very tiny beads - green pea size - about 0.8x1.0cm each. The others are not so tiny, quite 'regular' in size!

Enjoy the rest of the week. Have a very merry Christmas and all the best in 2009!
